Argo is a GNU/Linux distribution based on Debian GNU/Linux system.

It has been created basically to be a firewall, but can do much more :)
Here follows a list of the features:
-hardened debian woody 3.0 system
-Linux kernel 2.4.x, iptables firewall (one of the most powerful and flexible firewall that exists today)
-Work as a recovery diskless full system on CDROM (using the gibraltar-bootsupport architecture)
-can be "cloned" on hd directly from a live diskless session (also remotely)
-web configuration, if wanted, within webmin on https secure protocol
-all the installation can be done via web (https) or via ssh if you prefer commandline
-firewall and services configuration via web or via ssh if you prefer commandline
-mrtg network traffic statistics (to be aware about HOW many kbps are you paying and HOW using)
-vpn support (vtun,ipsec,pptp)
-ADSL external adapter support 
-web configurable DMZ
-time based firewall control
-users can backup the configuration on a floppy disk or via network (ssh)
 this allows, for a hard disk installed system to always have an emergency diskless system
 available in case of hard disk failure.

when cloned as a normal "on hard disk" system can also have:
-automatic security updates with report
-transparent proxy support (squid)
-virus and spam check on email (amavis+clamav+spamassassin+securitysage)
-scheduled backup depending on media and data
